This year is the last and also a critical year of the "Tenth Five-Year Plan". In order to display achievements of the S&T development and enhance the public awareness, MOST will conduct an all-round and systematic summary of the S&T work, showcase achievements to the public and award a batch of major S&T results obtained during the "Tenth Five-Year Plan". In light of the overall requirement, a summary of the Action Plan for Facilitating Trade through S&T will be made.

The summary of the State Action Plan for Facilitating Trade through S&T in the "Tenth Five-year Plan" covers areas as follows: one, the general implementation of the strategy in the five years; two, implementation of the action plan from 2000 to 2004; three, development of high-tech product export base in the key S&T trade cities and high-tech zones; four, information service network and operation of website for high-tech product export base in different regions.

The summary work of all localities and departments will be completed before July 30, 2005. For specifics, refer to the column of "Notices and Announcements" on the website of MOST.
