Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived in Amsterdam on Tuesday to attend the seventh China-EU summit in the Hague and visit the Netherlands.

After he arrived at the airport, Wen Jiabao delivered a speech in which he said the Chinese government attached great importance to developing relations with the country and the rest of the European Union.

He said that China was willing to make joint efforts to expand cooperation with the EU even further.

During the sixth China-EU summit last year, the two sides established the China-EU all round strategic partnership.
