The European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso says China and EU will discuss the issue of the EU arms embargo on China during the upcoming China-EU summit on Wednesday.

Barroso says other political and economic topics include recognizing China's market economy status.

Both sides will also sign a series of statements and agreements.

At present, the EU is China's largest trade partner and China is EU's second largest business partner.
